It has been a Table Runner May! This is the third table runner I've made this month.
I wanted a modern table runner for my dining room table.
I had several patterns in mind, but chose this one from Pinterest.
It starts by making a nine-patch block.
I made a 45* angle and cut through each nine-patch block, and rearranged them. I added connecting strips of fabric (1 1/4") between the rows and sewed them together again.
I love the results. However, if I were to do this again, I would rearrange the colors better.
Every quilt tells a story. This is the story of making a table runner for my home.
Every Quilt Tells A Story
Whether it is the fabrics chosen, the design, the colors, the occasion, the recipient, or the people I quilt with, every quilt tells a story. This blog captures in images and words what has been created for others and for my own home through the hum and stitching of my sewing machine.
